This feels a bit like lazy parenting to me – rather than trying to teach or discipline their child, they’re trying to appease them and reward them before they’ve even done the job. I know some may think that they’re a bit frivolous but I know they help my kids brush the appropriate amount of time since they never brushed for long enough in the past. I just got my daughter a VeggieTales singing toothbrush because I was running out of ways to teach her to keep brushing for at least 2 minutes (getting her to brush wasn’t the problem, she just wasn’t brushing long enough) She’s brushed her teeth 4 times today. Can’t our kids be left un-entertained for the 2 minutes it takes them to brush their teeth? Celebrity parents tell us which baby products they can’t live without!
