An Indian Hill High School senior was being hailed as a hero Wednesday night after performing CPR on a baby who was pulled from a pool. It happened at the Camargo Country Club. The baby had no pulse and was not breathing. Ambrose sprung into action, starting CPR as others called 911. Ambrose was able to revive the baby before paramedics arrived on the scene. Pampa police hope to have an arrest warrant later this week in connection with the area's latest baby death. The assistant chief tells NewsChannel 10 they plan to present evidence against their lead suspect to the District Attorney by Wednesday. A baby is in hospital in Sydney’s west with suspected meningococcal disease. The 10-month-old boy is being treated with antibiotics for the potentially fatal disease and is in a stable condition in Westmead Children’s Hospital. The hospital is urging people to remain alert to the symptoms of the disease and to seek medical help immediately if they appear. Symptoms can include sudden fever, a rash of reddish purple spots, severe headache, nausea, stiff neck, dislike of bright light and drowsiness.
